Hanscom: Insights into Action
Hanscom Air Force Base has a rich history of innovation, and is a leader in the armed force’s mission to develop the next generation of technologies that will maintain the United States’ strategic dominance around the world.
A C2 center of excellence, Hanscom is collaborating with Kansas City-based Tesseract Ventures to prototype and showcase next generation awareness tools to expedite progress in Joint All Domain C2.
“We are inspired to work with Hanscom Air Force Base and be one of the many SBIR funded technology development and execution companies known for rapid execution and innovation.” said John Boucard, CEO and founder of Tesseract Ventures based in Overland Park, Kansas.
Tesseract supports all domain awareness to enable more dynamic command and control at the tactical and operational levels of war.
“We are developing and strategically executing tools with the ability to create clarity as they collect and deliver huge amounts of data into a single point of analysis. This brings faster, more confident decision making, and predictive analysis that can keep our forces one step ahead of our adversaries.”– John Boucard CEO Tesseract Ventures
The Tesseract Smart Space facilitates collaboration and data visualization that can bring together information from every part of a mission or base for enhanced situational awareness and improved operational control.
Tesseract Prism is a suite of advanced wearables and hardware that allows users to track the locations of personnel and equipment, create virtual zones, send out real-time alerts, receive SOS calls and more. Prism’s real-time data capabilities enhance safety and efficiency to help build the Flightline of the Future.
Tesseract Node is a highly portable, self-contained access control and credentialing hub that acts as a central brain for IoT devices. It can be deployed in minutes on all types of bases, at field hospitals and beyond, with little to no infrastructure needed.
Prism Asset Tracking from Tesseract’s advanced sensors utilize real time location services and GPS to give command a clear view of where material is at all times, whether it’s on the base, in transit or on the battlefield.
A truly connected military will require a robust ecosystem of solutions that ties everything and everyone together, from top personnel to every piece of equipment on the ground. Hanscom and Tesseract are working to create connected tools that will usher in the future of operational excellence.
